Arozo Azimi

Research Coordinator

Arozo is a research program coordinator studying the effects of psilocybin in treatments for chronic pain and co-occuring depression, under the guidance of Dr. David Yaden. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Stony Brook University, where her interest in research began through explorations of social memory. With a background in psychometrics and biofeedback, Arozo is fascinated by the potential that psychedelics hold to better our understanding of human consciousness and advance therapeutics. She is primarily interested in the clinical application of psychedelics and the impact of self-transcendental experiences on beliefs, behavior, and quality of life.
