Riddhima Chandra
Research Coordinator
Riddhima Chandra serves as a Research Program Coordinator, investigating the cognitive, neurological, and therapeutic effects of psilocybin under the guidance of Dr. Frederick Barrett. She holds three Bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Santa Barbara: Psychological and Brain Sciences (BS), Communication (BA), and Spanish (BA). With previous experience in Cognitive Neuroscience, primarily utilising Electroencephalography (EEG), she now applies her expertise at the CPCR, serving as a co-facilitator for studies that empirically explore the role of music in shaping the set and setting during the psychedelic experience. She is also actively engaged in studies exploring the effects of psilocybin on electrophysiology and the dynamic content of thought, including their immediate impact on cognition and perception. Her long-term aspirations involve pursuing a PhD, with a research focus at the intersection of Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychedelics.
