Marlene is an undergraduate researcher studying Psychology at Johns Hopkins University. At the center, she is assisting with the PAMVET lab studying the therapeutic interaction between psilocybin and MDMA on veterans with PTSD. She is interested in learning more about how psychedelics can be beneficial in treating psychological and psychiatric conditions, and how psychedelics can help augment therapy. Marlene is excited to help contribute to the growing field and knowledge of psychedelics as a potential new therapeutic treatment, as well as exploring the connection between psychology and neuroscience. In the future, Marlene hopes to pursue a career path in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology.
