Gabi Lofland

Gabriela (Gabi) Lofland is a research program coordinator and co-facilitator for studies investigating the effects of psilocybin on electrophysiology and the dynamic content of thought under Dr. Frederick Barret. Gabi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Public Health from Goucher College, and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University. Gabi has a longstanding interest in the intersection of medicinal chemistry, radiology, and psychosocial effectors of health and medicine. Her previous research experience focused on precision oncology through the lens of nuclear medicine. From her pre-clinical and clinical experience, Gabi has gained an appreciation for the broad application of various imaging modalities and how they can transform the way biochemical processes are illustrated. Gabi intends to continue her education by pursuing a medical degree.
