George Lucas

Psychiatric Therapist

George Lucas is a Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical who joined the CPCR in 2025. He earned his Masters of Social Work degree through the University of Southern California School of Social Work, followed by several years of practice as a generalist therapist working across a wide variety of populations and mental health conditions. George moved from his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina to Baltimore in October 2021, and continuously enjoys the process of getting to know his new community. Along with applying Cognitive-Behavioral and Problem-Solving approaches to therapy as well as developing skills in Grief and Loss counseling, he has spent the last few years cultivating his own mindfulness and meditation practices. He has a long-standing interest in the use of psychedelics for treatment-resistant conditions, facilitation of spiritual and mystical experiences, and navigating life and death.
