Chirashree Manik
Student Intern
Chirashree (she/her) is an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling candidate at Johns Hopkins University. As a research intern at the CPCR since July 2023, she works with Dr. David Yaden on studies on the effects of psilocybin in obsessive compulsive disorder and other studies exploring psychedelic experiences. She is driven by curiosity about mental health, well-being, and the related role of psychedelics. Through her experiences in research laboratories and psychiatric settings, she hopes to cultivate her research interests, pursue a doctoral program in the field of psychology, and become a licensed clinician incorporating psychedelic-assisted therapy into her future practice.
