Seeking Healthy Volunteers For An Experimental Drug Administration Study

Researchers at Johns Hopkins are examining the potential for psychoactive drugs to yield a psychedelic experience during an experimental drug administration session.

Participation in the study involves:

  • Completing six experimental drug administration sessions over approximately six weeks on the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Campus

  • Administration of one of the following:

    • Placebo

    • Psilocybin

    • Ketamine

    • Dextromethorphan (DXM)

    • Dimethyltryptamine (DMT)

    • Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)

    • Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)

Eligibility requirements:

  • Age 25-55

  • Are a healthy individual

  • Prior use of psychoactive drugs

  • Ability to attend up to 15 in-person appointments over 6-10 weeks


You may receive up to $2380 for completing all study procedures.
