Nathan Sepeda
Director of Data & Analytics
Nathan Sepeda is the Director of Data & Analytics for the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research (CPCR), where he leads data management and analysis efforts for groundbreaking studies on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics. He has played a pivotal role in several clinical trials, including the first randomized controlled trial investigating psilocybin's effects on major depressive disorder, as well as studies examining its impact on brain functioning, cognition, and well-being. Beyond his work with psilocybin, Nathan has contributed to research on other psychedelic compounds, including 5-MeO-DMT, ibogaine, salvinorin-A, and ketamine. At CPCR, he is responsible for designing advanced data infrastructure and developing automated pipelines to efficiently process, manage, and analyze clinical trial data. Additionally, Nathan manages data initiatives at The Ohio State University Center for Psychedelic Drug Research and Education (CPDRE), where he supports the harmonization of data across diverse studies.
