Jedidiah Siev

Visiting Scholar

Jedidiah Siev is associate professor of psychology at Swarthmore College, visiting associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and a licensed clinical psychologist. Previously, he directed the Anxiety Treatment Center and founded the OCD and Related Disorders Program at Nova Southeastern University, after completing training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania. Jed studies OCD and related disorders, with an emphasis on cognitive and meta-cognitive processes. He has a particular clinical and research interest in unacceptable thoughts and especially scrupulosity, a manifestation of OCD with religious or moral core fears. At the CPCR, Jed is involved in research on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics for OCD.
