Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are investigating the effects of psilocybin—a psychoactive compound found in mushrooms—on brain activity and function, using transcranial magnetic stimulation, EEG, fMRI, and cognitive testing.
Participants must:
Be 22 to 55 years of age
Be medically and psychiatrically healthy
Be willing and able to travel to Johns Hopkins Hospital and Hopkins Bayview Campus for a total of 12 study visits
Participants can receive compensation up to $600.
