Psychiatric Therapist

Amber Gillian is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland and District of Columbia and a certified perinatal mental health therapist (PMH-C). She obtained an M.S. in Applied Psychology from the University of Baltimore. In addition to her role as session guide and psychiatric therapist with the CPCR, Amber runs a private practice serving the perinatal population in and around Baltimore City. She has completed advanced trainings in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), Eye Moment Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as complex trauma and mindfulness. Amber’s research interests include exploring of the efficacy of psychedelic-assisted therapy for treating trauma, peri/menopause, postpartum and mood disorders.
