Post-Doctoral Research Fellow

Praachi is a post-doctoral research fellow at the CPCR under the mentorship of Dr. David Yaden. She completed her PhD in Neuroscience from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai under the guidance of Prof. Vidita Vaidya. During her PhD she investigated the role of GPCR signaling in early critical windows of life in establishing adult psychopathology, as well as the neural circuits underlying anxiety-related behavior and their modulation under the effect of serotonergic psychedelics in preclinical models. Her PhD work motivated her to better understand the therapeutic and translational opportunities in the field of psychedelic research, hoping to bridge the gap between preclinical and clinical research.
